About Mile High Misfits
Welcome to the warped, smoke-filled universe of Mile High Misfits, born right here in Denver, Colorado. What happens when Garbage Pail Kids and a dispensary have a wild one-night stand? You get over 250 hilarious, twisted, and unapologetic 420-themed characters featured across our original activity books and toker cards.

How the misfits came to life
Back in 2014, working as an independent artist, I crossed paths with someone who wanted to develop a line of 420 trading cards. Creative differences quickly showed us we were on completely different wavelengths, so we parted ways. Rather than letting the spark fade, I set out on my own. What started as a couple dozen bizarre caricatures, drawn using a standard computer mouse on an old laptop has exploded into a collection of over 250 completely original, hand-drawn Mile High Misfit characters, each loaded with their own wild name and twisted personality.

Old-school underground art meets 420 satire
Our characters are weird, crazy-looking, and wonderfully exaggerated. The art draws heavy inspiration from classic 1960s and 70s underground publications like Mad Magazine, Cracked, Creepy, CARtoons, and legendary Rat Fink graphics. Each character pairs this rebellious, counter-culture illustration style with cheeky titles that bring pure 1990s Garbage Pail Kids nostalgia straight into modern cannabis culture.

Steeped in Colorado cannabis culture
The "Mile High" in our name isn't just a pun; it is our foundation. Being rooted right in Denver, Colorado means our local 420 scene and Rocky Mountain lifestyle are deeply woven into every joke, activity book puzzle, and character card we produce. We create these for collectors, humor enthusiasts, and cannabis lovers who appreciate bizarre, handmade fun that doesn't take itself too seriously.
"The funniest, weirdest cards I've ever collected. Mile High Misfits feels like the underground comics of my youth collided with modern dispensary humor in the best possible way."
